MIND OF THE EYE is a series I began in 2000, when I was watching my son learn to read and write. I was fascinated with the way young children make up symbols, transpose letters, and enter the world of written language. Mind of the Eye has grown into an imaginary language where the underlying system is unknown. It plays with what the eye thinks.
